These pieces are all pretty personal and significant to me and are intended for adult readers/viewers since I often explore ideas I feel people think about but don’t often talk about, like the frustrating search for personal meaning, anxieties over one’s career and sense of belonging, and even sex (oo la la). But, like, also hopefully they’re funny too, you know?! Anyway…

Q: Wait, you’re an actor. What’s this whole page about?

Fair question. Well, in addition to acting, did you know I also write SHORT STORIES?! And direct FILMS?! OF COURSE NOT! Because I've never made any of these things publicly available and have only ever shared them with my family and friends. Until now...

Q: OK. but like, why?

Coming at me hard with these questions, but still, so far, very fair. I love acting and am very grateful to make my living at it, but one strange thing about that career is that you don’t really get to choose what you’re working on. Unless you’re a big ole star, you end up taking whatever you get cast in. Sometimes it’s great! And sometimes you’re a strawberry.

As a result, I have another cherished side to my artistic identity which involves me making exclusively whatever I want, and so far, that’s been short stories and movies. And because of my willingness to be a strawberry, I’m able to share these pieces with you for free. They are the result of my attempts to tell the most worthwhile stories I can muster. No money motives involved. And I think that’s pretty cool.

Short Stories and Films:

This will be the primary place I’ll share my personal creative work, giving easy access to those most interested in it and not forcing it on those who straight up ain't. NOTE: Stories and Films take a very long time to make. So while I'll send them as soon as they're done, expect it to be infrequent and irregular. For example, in 2020, I completed 3 short stories and a 20 minute film, so I'd say you can expect 3-5 finished pieces PER YEAR, at least for now. That said, because I’m not rushing to stick to a posting schedule, you can also expect my 100% best effort. I won’t publish unless I feel a piece is both done and worth your time.
